The Emily Blunt and John Krasinski love story continues. Following the SAG Awards, where Blunt told the audience the “entire experience of [making A Quiet Place] had completely pierced [her] heart,” and the Critics’ Choice Awards, where Krasinski devoted his time on stage to praising the “love of [his] life”, the actors have taken their relationship to new sartorial highs. The couple, who wed in 2010, attended the Writers’ Guild Awards wearing co-ordinating suits. “Twinning in tuxedos!” the internet shouted in sheer joy at the couple’s matchy-matchy fashion moment.
Of course, there were marked differences in tailoring. Blunt wore a baroque-printed Dolce & Gabbana blazer with ruffled lapels and oversized bow tie, while Krasinski’s jacket was realised in rich velvet – and his bow was distinctly average in size. Blunt wore a frosted pink lip, Krasinski did not.
